Trinity

So I'm not much of a model as you can probably tell in these photos. Everyday is cold, snowy and windy. But Tyra Banks says you have to push through no matter what the situation. So I decided to just do it. And I bombed.

I now have a new found respect for the many contestants on America's Next Top Model whom I judged while sitting on my couch eating chips, pouting my lips and working on my smize. To those that I called out on your lack of experience and bad photos, I apologize. :)

Winter Pink

When we took these pictures, you can probably tell by the look on my face that I am freezing. It was cold and windy that by the end of this twenty minutes shoot my fingers were frozen and I could hardly go through my bag  to get my keys. I was so frozen. Lucy Huang was the photographer today and had mentioned that I should be used to this type of cold since I was from Montreal. But I reassured her that I was not. It also started to snow, which was so unexpected because it was so sunny in the morning.

Thanks so much to her and her two assistants for helping us out, including holding my jacket and bag. Hope you like the pictures.

Home Design Inspired

I recently got obsessed with desperately trying to get my home to look like the homes seen in the interior design magazines. So far I have been able to find some great finds, including jewelry stand, bowls, pictures frames and vases.

Because I was on a serious budget I mostly shopped at Home Sense, Walmart, the dollar store and Goodwill. My biggest surprise was Goodwill. I have always heard that Goodwill has some great stuff if you are willing to dig deep. I dug deep and was able to find two white photo frames just as someone was putting it down. As soon as I got home I opened them up and placed two vintage Vogue covers that I got last Christmas.

Happy New Year!

On January 1st my Mr. and I decided to go down to the mall since he needed to purchase a few items. And really it was the only place open. The mall was packed and unfortunately we figured that out after the fact. I did do a first though; I did not buy a single item. I definitely saw a few things that I wanted but walked away as we weren't in the mall looking for me.

My new years resolution is to work on my blog a lot more, stay positive and start working out (a little). The last time I worked out was a really longtime ago and I'm pretty sure I left the gym early because I was too tired. But I will do my best to not disappoint myself and my future followers.

Have a great day!

New Year's Eve...Options

So I was planning on spending New Year's Eve with my boyfriend at my place all while celebrating Christmas. Since he's been back from the military I thought it would be a great idea to stay in make a fancy dinner and open presents. But I, at the last minute, changed my mind as soon as I saw French Connection putting up new posters; forty percent off all regularly priced items. As I was thinking "I don't really need another dress," my feet brought me into FCUK anyway.

Mesh, sparkle, jersey, lace, knit and sheer dresses everywhere. Some with patterns and others with shine. I picked up a patterned dress and tried it on. After I got home and checked online, it was called the Sub Zero Wizard dress. It was a mini dress with cap sleeves and synched in at the waist. It almost resembled tiny feathered patterns in blue, pink and white. Unfortunately, I was able to convince myself that I did not need it because I had another dress that would work perfectly if I decided to go to a New Year's party. But I now cannot stop thinking about this dress. I've decided to shop around and here are just a few of the option I found while window shopping. ;)
